Construction Management

SSC Construction Management is exceptionally knowledgeable and has 22+ industry years in the Construction Management realm.

In this contractual option the owner signs a pre-construction contract naming the firm the official Construction Manager and pays a portion of the fee during this phase. Post award SSC Construction Management then works with the ownership to establish Owner Project Requirements (OPR’s) and Design Professionals to develop plans utilizing materials and constructability approaches that will work within the project budget. The evaluation and award of the CM is typically based on their resume, experience, delivery timeline and estimated budget. Ultimately a solicitation of multiple pre-qualified subcontractors through a divisionally broken down Invitation to Bid will occur prior to scope reviews post receipt for confirmation of conformance with the project plans and specifications. SSC will then develop the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) amendment and present this to the Owner/Developer via an AIA agreement with corresponding exhibits. The GMP amendment is a supplementary signed contract wherein the remaining portion of the Construction Manager’s fee is paid throughout the remainder of the construction of the project.
